The only way I think Joe can win against a power-puncher in Lacy is if he uses a lot of jabs and stay on the outside.

Trading with a power-puncher who has a good chin is a bad idea.

I think Joe can trade with Lacy I just think he needs to pick and choose the times to do so-he does not want to get into a long drawn out brawl.

I think it would be wise for Joe to use his superior hand speed for the majority of the rounds and fight but I also think it would be wise to brawl in spurts for 15 or 20 seconds...in almost every round.

Eubank wasn't shot at all, he'd just foolishly been a 200lb man fighting at 168 since 1993 and foolishly severely weight-drained for this comeback fight against Calzaghe. He looked garbage against Calzaghe, but it wasn't exactly vintage Calzaghe either from how I remember it Joe was wreckless as **** alnight.
Hey JUYJUY,I found an interview with Eubank from Feb 1990 if your interested(I couldnt imagine you not being interested lol).

The problem is, he might get tagged with a nasty shot. Much like what tarver did to Jones. A so-called lucky shot is never out of the picture. And we all know Lacy has the power to KO anyone. Joe has a good chin. I think it will hold up well. But if he gets tagged with a nasty straight or a vintage LAcy hook, then he will really feel its effects.

Joe should stick to what he does best. He's technically more sound that Lacy and he has the handspeed, he should stick to his game and not be a macho dude trying to fight Lacy at his own turf.

calzaghe is a big supermiddleweight who looks awfull against bums but is a class act against good fighters he knows lacy is a danger and will box and use is skills very carefully in the early rounds as lacy becomes more frustrared calzaghe will open up more and stop lacy in the ninth or tenth round.

Wishful thinking my friend....Calzone's gotta make it to the ring 1st, which WON'T HAPPEN!!!!

The over/under on Joey Calzone pulling out of the fight is Feb. 15, I got $20 on the under

Joe just loves to attack and fight, he just cannot help it! It comes naturally to him, to want to get in there and slug. He won't be able to resist trading with Lacy, probably from the start of the opening round! That's why I'm picking Lacy, Calzaghe is very washed up.
