What happened to pirog, amd korobov for that matter.

2 Russians on there way to being HBO headliners, just disappeared off the face of the earth. Korobov looked even better than GGG at one point.

Pirog was better than GGG. I'm a big GGG fan, but Pirog was more slick, moved better and was overall more dangerous. It's a shame what an injury can do.

You couldn't speak anymore crap if you tried. Pirog better than GGG? More dangerous? ROFL I think you are delusional.

I believe he was better. Not a whole lot better, but he was slightly better IMO.

Anyways, I think this is a good fight. But it might be too big of a step up for Jacobs. He's been facing a lot of bums lately. He faced a veteran in Lorenzo and destroyed him. But he needs one more fight against a higher level opponent before he fights Kid Chocolate imo.

As bad as Jacobs' opposition has been, Quillin's hasn't been great either. Quillin has never faced a top level middleweight and Jacobs was destroyed by the only one he did face. So it's hard to too strongly either fighter here. However, I'm inclined to favor Jacobs after how fragile Quillin looked in his last fight.

Not true. Jacobs was actually winning the fight before the knockdown. Far from being destroyed.

The ref didn't even give Jacobs a chance to get up when he was on his way to getting up.

Jacobs can win this if he can avoid getting KO'ed. But his last fight he was drawn into an exchange and that was very dangerous to do.
