The ref didn't even give Jacobs a chance to get up when he was on his way to getting up.
So the ref robbed him? Effing lol

I think the ref should've at least reached a 10 count or let the man try to get up. If he gets up, falls back down, cool stop it. If my memory serves me correctly, he actually had to hold jacobs down and stop him from getting up.

Yea and anyone who watched that fight knows that Pirog was the one winning the fight. The judges were ready to rob Pirog.

The one thing I remember about the Pirog Jacobs fight, besides the knockout, was how bad the scoring was for that fight.

I just checked one of the judges was CJ Ross, she had Jacobs up 3-1 after 4. Which is laughable.

I think one thing we can all agree on is that Pirog is better than anybody Quillin has fought (at the time he fought them).

It was a clear 3 - 1 for Jacobs. Clear as glass. Pirog obviously won the 2nd round, but before the 5th, that was it. Pirog applied tons of pressure, but Jacobs was the more active fighter landing more clear punches and combinations.

People were more surprised by Pirog's pressure and ability to be competitive with Jacobs over him actually beating Jacobs before the time of the stoppage.

Oh BTW, compubox was 73-43 in favor of Jacobs at the time of the stoppage. So please, by all means explain how 3-1 was so laughable?

Who cares what Compubox says. Compubox is good at determining volume, and how much more active one fighter was compared to another. Compubox had Pacquiao out landing Marquez in the 3rd fight, many thought Marquez won that fight. I gave Jacobs round 1, I gave Pirog 2 and 3, and the 4th was a lot closer than what Compubox says. I thought Pirog won the 4th.

Lederman had the fight 2-2 going into the 5th, which is fair(he gave Jacobs the 1st and 3rd). I had Pirog winning. Pirog definitely won the 5th round because he knocked him out.

Pirog was sizing up Jacobs that entire fight and that knockout was a thing of beauty. He knew that he had to knock him out, cause he was not going to win a decision with the judging being the way it is.
