I thought bout Mikey, but the TD didn't really impress (the performance did, but I wasn't alone thinking he coulda gone on), nor did coming in over on the scales 'gainst lopez. A good win 'gainst Martinez won't be enough to overtake Stevenson or Kovalev (unless they lose) IMO, but I think next year's gonna be really special for Garcia.

Timothy Bradley losing a fight in the majority of the boxing world's opinion aligns him for a Floyd fight, but Guerrero beating Berto, putting himself in the position of Mandatory challenger for the WBC title is not?
No idea what you're getting at here. What I was saying is that Bradley putting up a competitive fight with an ATG > Guerrero beating Berto who hasn't won against anybody notable.

Quoting Angel Garcia doesn't really help your case and we both know Lamont's belt was really Matthysse's.

Matthysse (140) - beat Alexander, Judah, Peterson, Soto, Ajose, Corley, Harris, Dallas Jr.

Guerrero (147) - beat Berto and Aydin
            Canelo (154) - beat Trout

Best win of the year perhaps, but only 1 fight so far, and even beating Agbeko convincingly won't be that impressive. Doesn't really cut it in terms of activity - a win over a top 5 SBW might be enough but Agbeko's really a Bantam anyway.

This inactivity man, it sucks huh? I'm sure Rigondeaux loves sitting on the sideline.

I'm not disagreeing with you but it's more than obvious that Arum created this situation by marketing this BS immediately in the Donaire-Rigondeaux post fight IN THE RING.

When the hell do you see a promoter RUSHING into the ring with full intentions of discrediting one of its fighters?

The boxing media fed into his bullshit and here we are.

Can't believe you're citing the Robert Guerrero's ATG press release.

Decuba Sr is the father of of Robert Guerrero's freaken manager (Decaba Jr) so of course he's going to pick Guerrero. And Decubas Sr was Roberto Duran's long time manager and friend. Duran was obviously used to try to help Guerrerro get the fight. Casamayor is another Decubas client. No coincidence there. Robert Diaz and Eric Gomez, Golden Boy employees, trying to hype up a a potential Golden Boy opponent for Mayweather? Color me surprised. Donaire is Guerrero's long time childhood friend. Don't need to explain that. Ryan Maquinana was probably the only "legit" one, but even then, he's a self proclaimed "Bay Area Boxing Insider" with bay area fighter ties and bias.

And I don't give a damn what that ridiculous press release says. There's no freaken way Emmanual Steward would think it's a pick'em fight. Around the same time, Steward also called Pacquiao/Mayweather a 50/50 fight. You going to tell me he thought Guerrero was Pacquiao's equal? Keep in mind this press released came before Guerrero even left 135.

Danny Garcia 100%. Mayweather beat fighters that he was supposed to beat and Garcia destroyed a very good fighter that was supposed to destroy him. I was rooting for Mathysse and I feared he might even hurt Danny.

                      2nd Rigo for dominating Donaire
