I agree, big Floyd fan, but he's not #1 all time. On the same hand, I have no problem with Floyd saying it because i know he's not thinking about others resume's he's thinking solely about what they were able to do in the ring. Which he brings up every time he's asked why he feels he's the greatest.

Floyd fans thought Floyd was joking/trolling when he said on video that he was going for a long vacation and didn't want to fight Manny. After almost a year vacationing, Floyd fans said "What is wrong with that?"#1 I think most educated fans took that statement for what it was, trolling. But, if he was serious about Manny signing to Mayweather Promotions, is that any different than when Manny makes his opponents sign to Top Rank so that they can get a fight, or is this just another double standard like how it's ok for Manny to catch weight guys but not Floyd lol? I'm curious
At first, Floyd fans thought Floyd was joking when he said "I want ALL PPV money" then they said "What is wrong with that?"
By the way, you went from "Floyd is trolling" to "What is wrong with what Floyd said?" in the same post!

In my opinion Pacman is clean
Pacquiao has good character and was never afraid to take any challenges, he's proven that time & time again. His character was never in question. USADA was only known when my boy Floyd made noise of it during their first negotiation.
If Ya'll gonna criticize Pacquiao about not taking USADA or even questioning the man because he refused, then you're gonna have to look back at history way even before USADA became a part of boxing. You're gonna have to question Tommy Hearns, Sugar Ray Leanard, Muhammed Ali, Roberto Duran, Julio Chavez, and the list goes on and on. We all know how the 80s used to be steroid-based when it came to athletes. It was common back then. With this in mind, it's pure bull**** to take away credit from Pac if you ain't taking it away from other greats from the past.
As much as I love my boy Floyd, and I believe Floyd can beat Pac with his superior defense & slick movements, I ain't blinding myself to the fact that Floyd brought this up when Pac became an option. Why then? What made him decide to put that against Pac if he truly believes he can beat Pac? C'mon Floyd, if you're truly the man in charge you can make any fight happen. The ball is in your court. Don't deny us boxing fans what was supposed to be the best match of an era.Comment

Beating an undefeated Canelo, Diego, and Hatton is real legit. Beating Mosley after he destroyed Margacheato then beating: Cotto, De La Hoya, Ortiz, Marquez, Guerrero and Judah. When they were hot.Floyd based off of skills and talent should be top 5. He just doesn't have the hugh signature win that most of the top 10 ATG's do. If you put a '10 Pacquiao win (especially a dominate one) on his resume, then that would be the final ingredient that would lead to him being ranked that high.
Floyd does have great wins, I'm not denying that. However it's akin to Moreno not winning the superbowl. Despite all his talent achievements etc....he doesn't have that defying moment that would have cemented his legacy. That fight in '10 was it. To say other wise is just you being in denial.
With that said, nothing in my post has anything to do with Pacquiao, Marquez and Morales ATG rankings. That's another discussion for another thread.
Dude has great wins end of story in '08 people thought Pac lost to Marquez. So one year later maybe even 2 this is the guy to make or break Floyd's legacy? So regardless of all those great win's he is not a top 5 ATG to you? Well that is your opinion I respect that.
But to me their is no other fighter with the: Defense, skills, countering ability, stamina and ring generalship that could match him. And he is 36 still doing this.
So when the hell does Floyd get out of his prime? Was he in it when he beat Diego?? Judah? Canelo??
You see where I am going with this. Dude is an All time great, and with or without Pac people will say that whether you like it or not.Comment

That's where you don't understand Pac. Pac is and has always been loyal to those who do him good. Top Rank & Pac has good relationship. Why break that up just to fight Floyd when we know the fight can happen anyways if Floyd wants it to?Cool, lol, you dodged the question because you did not have an answer, I'll ask you once more.

You know that after every roadblock Floyd puts:
- there is first disbelief
- then Floyd fans need to hear it from Floyd himself
- then more disbelief and shock
- then there is "defend Floyd at all costs" which includes "What's wrong with what Floyd said?"
Just to jog your memory, here are the Floyd roadblocks/stalling:
- ACCUSED Manny of taking PEDs with NO proof
- PEDs roadblock
- vacations
- cut-offs, no cut-offs
- negotiations, no negotiations
- "Take the test and we have a fight" then no fight after Manny agrees
- "Manny YOU are NEXT" .... "I NEVER said Manny is NEXT"
- "I want ALL PPV money"
- Manny needs to beat so and so before he can fight me but Ortiz doesn't need to fight (revenge) Maidana beforehand!
- "Manny needs to join TMT or no fight."Comment
