Why do people have such a disdain for Pacquaio?

i dnt dislike him but i stoped being a fan cause he lets arum play his azz. and that "anytime anywere" **** about fighting mayweather is such sheet. he refused blood testing,he refuesed a 40million offer and refused negotiations. ****ing negotiatons! he had a chance against may 3 4 yeas ago and blew it cause another ****in diva just like floyd. and dont go sayin its the promtions fault. he had a chance to fight as a free agent like any sane mofo would do and he resigned with arum. you think ali or frazoer would let their managment *** them out of the fight of the generation. no dislike towards the personn he is or the fighter in the ring....
but he is a ****in pawn when he should be a king. no respect.Comment

i'll never get this "because of his fans" excuse. how can you get so affected by forum wars that you have to redirect your hate to the fighter they're fan of? that's ******ed.
but then if you look at these posters complaining about other fans, they're the ones you wouldn't want to read their posts...they can't hide their hate and it doesn't matter if their posts come out very ******.
agree. i see people with this mentality and it makes me think less of them.
people literally dislike / support fighters based on the rhetoric they hear on bscene. can they come up with more ******ed logic for establishing who they root for?Comment

good pointIt is mostly BS about it all being about his fanbase.
I hate Mayweather and Broner because of their personalities - their fans being idiots is just the icing on the cake.
Flowmos took it personal with Pac. Even though Floyd basically "won", they still won't let it go - the butthurt lives on.
Manny is one of the most likeable boxers ever - but a certain fanbase totally went after him. These same people defend Adrien Broner on the regular.
Just think about that for a moment.Comment

That would be it right there, he had the power to force the issue but was content to let Floyd take all the blame. No accountability whatsoever~i dnt dislike him but i stoped being a fan cause he lets arum play his azz. and that "anytime anywere" **** about fighting mayweather is such sheet. he refused blood testing,he refuesed a 40million offer and refused negotiations.

Still while that is kind of a punk move it doesn't make me overly dislike him but I don't have to give him a free pass over that stuff either some people get sensitive over that stuff though funny enough from dudes that cast a ton of stones.Comment

I don't think there is any disdain for Pacquiao. This is one of those threads that further drive the wedge between the people who love/like Pacquiao and the people who feel the same the same about Mayweather or any other boxer. Pacquiao is one of the most beloved boxers of all time. In fact I can't think of one ATG that has received more praise than Pacquiao while they were active. The problem is the people that truly love Pacquiao think he's above any criticism. If you have the nerve to opine about who you believe is the better boxer between him, Mayweather (or someone else) and don't say without a doubt he is, then in those people's eyes you're showing him disdain. In the end Pacquiao is a great fighter but if there is a "but" then you obviously hate him.Comment

See the Matthysse hate... Same shitIt seems that a number of people dislike him and I was just wondering why and I find it odd. Does he rub you wrong way? He doesnt rub me the wrong way. I like his personality. Its not bad anyway.
Is it because he lost to Marquez? I find it fairweather that as soon as it happened everyone turned around and stuck there finger out and laughed at Manny Pacquaio as soon as that happened...As if **** doesn't happen in this sport. I will never get some people...
Its very similar, only to a smaller scale
Its easy to hate someone that's vastly overrated by not so knowledgeable fans cause overrated things are the worst
See Justin Beiber, the Twilight series, 50 shades of Gray... Overrated horseshit everyone HATES for essentially no reason
There's word for these kinds of people... GEEKSLast edited by JDezi4; 10-23-2013, 08:20 PM.Comment
