WBC been doing this BS for YEARS! Man haven't even fought at Welterweight Yet but somehow he is #2 Instantly, that is HILARIOUS and further Proves that the WBC is a JOKE!

Rankings don't mean **** in boxing anymore, your chosen for title shots now, gone are the days when you could actually "FIGHT YOUR WAY TO THE TOP" that is not even possible in boxing anymore in boxing

I get that Khan doesn't really DESERVE the fight, being that he lost 2 of his last 4, but do you guys REALLY believe that this wouldn't be an exciting fight? Khan will be the quickest, highest volume puncher Floyd has faced since Oscar, and probably MORE SO than Oscar was at that time due to his age. This will be an exciting fight should it happen. What sucks is that it's all politics.. Khan definitely shouldn't be #2 contender; that's wrong.

Golden Boy I get, of course they want that fight. Mayweather though? I won't believe it until they are announcing it together. Mayweather hasn't taken a fight this bad in a long time.

Of course Mayweather wants the fight because Khan will sell better than any remaining opponent in the division (except Pacquiao) and Mayweather believes Khan will be an easy (T)KO. Like someone said earlier, low risk / high reward. That's a fundamental principle of business and it's what Money May is all about.

Jesus Christ. At least Guerrero was on a winning streak in a good campaign. Khan is a year removed from getting knocked out and hasn't beaten anybody worth mentioning since then. I can't believe they're going to make this fight without even bothering to get Khan a decent win at welterweight.

Guerrero beat Berto to get the Floyd fight. That's the same Berto who got beat by Ortiz. The same Ortiz who quit against Maidana. The same Maidana who got whupped by Khan...
