I thought it couldn't get worse that the Guerrero fight but this takes the cake. At least Guerrero had a nice winning streak going.
My question is, how are they going to sell this fight on Cinco De Mayo? Canelo is clearly not going to fight on any more undercards and Mares proved he is not a big enough Mexican draw a the Ghost fight last May.
It would be a risk doing this fight in the UK as well.

So realistically, what are his options? Alexander, Khan or Garcia for May, correct? Unfortunately, the fighters that are really hot at the moment are TR fighters, which makes it unlikely. Unless he goes to 154 and fights Quillin or GGG there which we both know won't happen.

Khan makes sense for Mayweather at this moment in time, and naturally, the WBC are pushing it. Nothing new.

Alexander-Khan. Winner gets Mayweather. Only reason Golden Boy would walk away from that fight is if they and Floyd both want Khan so bad they won't risk him losing again. If Khan beat Alexander, people wouldn't be against the fight like they are. Same if Alexander were to win.

I think this is clearly the case otherwise the Khan/Alexander fight would be happening in Dec. I doubt they wanted Broner/Maidana headlining a PPV in Dec. probably meant to have the Khan/Alexander fight on that same card until Floyd's team indicated Khan as a frontrunner for next year.

That's exactly what happened. Floyd Sr. wants the fight. He said:

"All those tough guys and champions that Floyd fought over the years. I think Floyd deserves an easy a** fight like Amir Khan. I want Floyd to tear his a** out of frame.

He also wanted Khan to skip Alexander and said something like "Khan don't deserve to fight Floyd, but Floyd deserves an easy ass fight like Amir Khan"

WBC been doing this BS for YEARS! Man haven't even fought at Welterweight Yet but somehow he is #2 Instantly, that is HILARIOUS and further Proves that the WBC is a JOKE!

Golden Boy I get, of course they want that fight. Mayweather though? I won't believe it until they are announcing it together. Mayweather hasn't taken a fight this bad in a long time.
