how would Floyd Mayweather of 2006/07 do against these fighters?

Loses to all of them.
Let's get one thing straight. Floyd is a coward and insecure about his own talents. That is why his entourage is so large to begin with. He wouldn't step near a ring with any of these fighters. PERIOD. He loses to all of them. A prime Oscar was good at using his size and legs. He would have outpointed Floyd for a decision. Hearns is one of the strongest two fisted punchers in history, ala Felix Trinidad and would have murdered Floyd. Who do you think Floyd is? An all-time great? He is not. He is good at match-making. Whitaker is the true greatest defensive fighter of all-time and had a better jab, better legs, and you couldn't hit him with ANYTHING. Not a jab, not to the body. People calling Floyd the greatest defensive fighter in history are young and dumb! Floyd is susceptible to a good jab. He gives you his body. He was marked up by Cotto and Cotto wouldn't have touched Whitaker. I think we know who wins the Floyd/Pacquiao fight as well. If he thought he could win, with the amount of money at stake for that fight, Guess what? He would have taken the fight!!! He didn't because he knew his hands would've been full and that he could've have possibly lost. Floyd is over-rated and a product of the times. In another era, he'd have 3 or four losses facing the best. Defense can only get you so far against B-level competition. All of these fighters are extremely active and efficient for 12 rounds. One of Floyd's problem against ATG's would've been his low punch rate. Duran and probably Chavez beats him because of this as well. His chin is good BUT how good? If any of these fighters hit him for 12, could he take it like they could?Comment

point 1- I get not liking floyd but to say that a guy who we have only seen hit flush a few times is going to get knocked out is sorta reckless.
point 2 - You can't pick a fantasy fight where one guy is at his best and the other isn't, any way, at floyd's best he is a defensive wizard with cat like reflexes. Like him or not, he's not getting knocked out. He's 36 and guys can't hit him, so you expect me to believe when he's 25-30 somebody is going to just blow him away in 2 rounds..GTFOH..
point 3- Hearns didn't knock out Leonard, he's not knocking out floyd. Floyd would be moving. Truth said.
point 3- Sweet pea had great reflexes and head movement. If you watch floyd, he had great footwork, great reflexes, and great defense. .. and yes they are all different categorizes.
point 4- I'm not saying he would be undefeated but Call him what you want but with his combination of skills he would be hard to beat in any era, and not one guy would blow right thru him, not even the haters believe that. it doesn't matter if you agree with the truth.
C'mon give the guy an ounce of creditComment

Each of those fighters present a different style and a different set of problems for Floyd. Each of the fights would be great. IMO, Floyd would beat Hearns via decision and Floyd would narrowly beat Sweet Pea on the cards.
The other two fights are 50-50 to me, so I can't speculate. Too much for my little brain to handle.Comment

if anyone not giving anyone credit, it's you with hearns.Comment
