Sure the money itself won't make you happy if you buy an expensive car/house, and spend the rest of it on silly ****.
But, if you're smart, you can make it work for you. Grow it and share it with people close to you who need it. All for the simple task of giving up watching a sport.
Boxing is great. It's a source of great entertainment. But if I had the opportunity to help my mother to stop suffering, and help my old man out with the bills, pay off my house...and all I had to do was never watch another boxing match. I'd do it in a heartbeat.
I know that most of the other posters talking **** would do it, if the money was on the table in front of them and this wasn't a hypothetical situation.
Nobody in their right mind would give up the freedom and the ability to help/save others lives and perhaps better themselves in the mean time for ****ing boxing.
And to those who say you would, maybe you haven't lived enough life, been through enough bad times to really know what this could mean for you. That's not your fault.
**unless some people voting are thinking OP meant $700, I'm shocked at the results of the poll.**
Mad respect to you guys if you could really keep your word and continue to watch the sport and turn down the money. I don't think there's a single source of entertainment in my life that I value that much. That sort of loyalty, dedication must be lost on me.
