Wlad Addresses Haters: "Boxing is an Art"

I don't know man. I'm not going to act like I'm a big Klitschko fan because I'm not.

But I just don't get how anybody can criticize a fighter that has reigned as the champion of the division for over a decade for fighting a way that has allowed him to dominate. He had some defensive leaks and fixed them by hiring a well respected hall of fame trainer. Blaming Wlad's dominance for the fall of the HW division is unfair.

I blame the fall of the division for the fighters that have no answer for what Wlad brings to the table. You tired of him then beat him. You can't beat him then you will never hold a belt, not even a paper title cause he has them all.

Respectable post and one without hypocrisy. Like I said a couple of pages ago, to not want to watch him, be a fan, etc is one thing. But to say he's a "bum" because of him not taking chances or not fighting like Tyson- AKA "boxing," and criticize him for not wanting to change his style and fight a more fan-friendly fight, yet NOT feeling the same about other pure boxers in other weight classes, just because he's big, is just hypocritical. IMO.

Wlad is a bum now. All he does is grab, try to throw you down, jab and clinch excessively.

Hop is excused for any holding that he does, Wlad isn't.

Wlad = Excessive Clincher

Doesn't Wlad have a glass chin? If so, why would he expose it and just "let" someone get on the inside and not legally clinch? He uses his size to his advantage just like Floyd uses his speed to his advantage. If Floyd fought a crude brawler who started rushing him like a savage, should Floyd just start brawling/slugging with him?


The objective is to hit and not be hit...... unless you're Wlad

Clinching is okay....... unless you're Wlad

Defensive fighters are great....... unless you're Wlad

Being old is an excuse to clinch and be defensive/ugly...... unless you're Wlad

Boxing is "the sweet science"........ unless you're Wlad
