Tho lots of people appreciated the style of Rigo but the VAST MAJORITY (who brings tons of money to the promoters & netwoks) are NOT!
HBO will showcase Wlad's fight but not because of him, its because of his opponent and what he can bring to the table. BOXING IS AN ENTERTAINMENT SPORT.
I'd much rather watch Rigo than Wlad by a good stretch. The heavyweight division has been too glamorized from the past and the smaller men have been overlooked and I would rather see the reverse. There wont be another Ali so Boxing needs to give up the Heavyweight ghost and bring more attention to the smaller guys. Nothing against Holmes, Holyfield, Wlad, Vitali, Lewis, but in the last 35 years only 2 names created a huge buzz and that was Ali and Tyson. Not to say the other guys have not been great for Boxing but its going to be a long wait for a superstar. Meanwhile, the little guys have just as much if not more to offer than some of the bigger guys.

Take your head out of your a$$! I already told you A) I didn't subscribe to the Boo's, B) If I owned HBO, I would have brought back Rigo after his big win because he is an elite fighter. If you had an ounce of sense you would see I analyzed why HBO turned their backs on Rigo. Son, you are too ***ing ****** to figure that out.

As for the bolded, it genuinely bores me when I see this phrase now. It's such a bland, over-used statement here on NSB. You're just as much a fan as nearly everyone else on this board, get over it
How can u call that boring?he is a counterpuncher
So he wait for u to make mistakes and he takes advantange of ur mistake,I don't think that's boring

                • It was Donaire's fault he didn't cut the ring off against Rigondeaux.

If Donaire would have fought Rigondeaux like he did in tenth round of their fight he wins that fight but he didn't.

Rigondeaux silence the crowd that night the same way Bradley did in Vegas against Marquez. Juan also did a poor job of cutting the ring that night.
