Garcia had an off night and STILL got the win in a sloppy fight. Talk about taking a guy lightly. Herrera is an overrated journeyman.

Herreras above average, he's the lww version of Carlos Molina, can beat anyone ugly. Danny "won" that fight but there's no way you could watch that fight and not think it was bogus. That's amongst the reasons along with;

Beating Lucas
Being undefeated
The way he looks, people hate that rican fade lol
Being somewhat boring, flat footed
His dad
Beating khan
Fighting salka

I'm sure there is other reasons but those are some of them. The guys humble and knocked out one of the most annoying big mouths in the sport, khan, that alone should make people like him. I think beating Lucas and khan really pissed people off because they have big fan bases.

I do give Danny Garcia his props because he did beat Khan and Mattysse no question but as far as his P4P status, the Herrera fight still left me with questions about that and it's not like he truly redeemed himself with the Salka fight. Plus, the Cold War has prevented other potential Garcia matchups like Provodnikov, Rios, and maybe even Algieri. Fortunately, it seems like it's coming to an end and I hope those options would still be there but in the meantime, I think Garcia needs to rematch Herrera to remove all doubts about his P4P status. That's the best he can do at the moment.

Herrera would get stopped in a rematch. Danny had an off night against Herrera. There is NOTHING Herrera brought that Danny did not see in Khan, Matthysse or Morales. Lets stop pretending that fight was a blow out too. Off night and even the greatest fighters have had off nights.
