    The Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association announced their resolution with respect to the aftermath of Denis Lebedev and Guillermo Jones. On May 17th in Moscow, Jones stopped Lebedev to capture the WBA world championship. Afterwards, RUSADA (Russian Anti-Doping Association) announced that Jones testing positive for a banned diuretic.

    The WBA has ordered both fighters to have a rematch, with October 23rd set down as the deadline date to reach an agreement or a purse bid will take place. Jones was also given a six-month retroactive suspension, which expires on November 17, 2013.

              Hit with the pointless retroactive ban! There's no penalty for using PED's so why stop?

                          Exactly! This is lame. And they even allow Jones a return.

                          If the wont hand out a decent suspension, then they should give half of Jones's purse from the first fight to Lebedev.

                              I take Jones by KO on the rematch, Guillermo is a better fighter with peds or without them.

                                  everyone cheats... it wasn't like he looked too solid in the waistline...everything is banned & everyone had no idea how they tested positive... i don't give a **** if they snort coke before fights just entertain me...i wish they had gladiator fights to the death. i'd have season tickets....
