amen that is exactly what happened no doubt in my mind

from now on if they don't make them all test year round like they should have to fight or no fight test randomly minimum 3 times a year if you have a boxing license you test that will never happen

but from now on not like my opinion matters but if a test is refused no excuses work for me you are a cheater no excuses period test

I did say money maker didnt I? It's not like Floyd was just some guy he was still the best during or equal to PAC at that time how ever u wanna look at it. It's not the same. A PAC fan in this thread already called ward a cheater for not taking the test but guarantee he won't say a peep about PAC lol. But this thread isn't about them

ward refused additional testing 3 times. you can't compare him with pac.

pac already agreed to it during the 2nd round of negotiations with Floyd's team which the then hbo president tried to brokered but floyd decided to go on another vacation instead. the hbo president even said he can't understand Floyd's decision. then floyd went on ustream rant saying he will eventually fight pac and that pac will take the test. so why would he say pac will take the test? because pac already agreed.

This calls into question the legitimacy of Andre Ward's career.

How the hell do you come to that , you dont ask for things after the fact that should have been in the contract , once the contract is signed thats it .

Ward will not refuse a legit testing demand , he said he has no problems with it but not under these circumstances , which is fair play .

Hang Ward out to dry if he refuses a legit test and walks out on a fight because of it , but until then he is an innocent man .

I think so, which is why I though there was a conflict of interest when it came down to Conte's VADA, testing the fighters of the guy that sent him to prison.

According to Steve Kim Ward is refusing to participate in VADA testing.

1.Ward starts working with a known cheat in Conte
2.Ward destroys the Light Heavyweight Champ in his best performance
3.Several of Conte's athletes test positive
4.Ward refuses VADA testing

i'll also point out that this is the 3rd time he has refused testing. He refused testing for the Froch and Abraham fights aswell


will HBO crusify Ward like they crucified Marquez? will they imply he's a cheater for entire year like they did for Marquez? and will all the people that accused Marquez of juicing accuse Ward or will there be a double standard?

I like Ward but this seems odd. And I could honestly see Jim raising questions even though he loves Ward and he is part of their team. Not like how they all but crucified Marquez (or anywhere near that) but Jim seems to have really taken the drug testing issue and ran with it. I don't like this from Ward.
