The Matthysse fans were ridiculous though, they gave Garcia zero chance and said he would be blown out in 3 rounds.

I'm not as confident as they were, this is a tough fight, my crow will not be as bitter as I'm not saying it's going to be a breeze for either fighter in the slightest.

I see this as a good call to make because I feel Karass is underrated and is improving a lot since he has been taking boxing a lot more seriously.

Thurman has not been tested imo, this fight is a good test. The Matthysse hype was understandable to a degree because he showed one punch KO power, something that fighters are born with.

Thurman hasn't shown the one punch devastating KO power that got Matthysse and Pacquiao their initial hype, like other posters have said he's been wearing down unproven fighters, not blasting them unconscious with one punch.

A win over Karass will be good but it will not have me sold on Thurman, I will give him credit though...

Karass lost to Maidana, a guy who most fans think is a ducker and a bum. This should be easy nights work for Thurman if he as good as they say he is.

In reality this will be a tough fight for Thurman and if he can't get him out there in the first half of the fight, Karass could give him trouble late on because of his stamina. I'm going Thurman TKO ref stoppage after 5-7 rounds. Will be a war though. If it goes past 9 then Karass could stop a tired Thurman.

What is your point? Many of you die hard Matthysse fans said Garcia would get KO'd in 3 rounds. You're trying to say Garcia was a really good opponent now but before you probably discredited him as a bum.

Karass has a much better resume than Thurman and the guys he lost to were taller and naturally bigger welterweights than you see in the class on average . Karass is on a winning streak against two fighters that are better than anyone on Thurman's resume.
