they are carefully planning what the promo will look like. would have to go all the way back to 2011 to make khan appear legit, it's tough. they will probably sneak in a peterson knockdown or carlos molina with a cut eye or something.

this will be a signature khan fight. blazingly fast in the opening rounds then completely mediocre in the remaining rounds with a high probability of knockdowns and blatant running.

Floyd vs Khan is a novelty fight,and these fights happen from time to time.
Khan is there and Mayweather is there,so put them together and see what
happens...that's it!Everyone knows Khan is not going to win..Everyone knows
it,but it's put together because it might be a FUN fight.It's kinda like the
Gatti/Mayweather fight.Anyone who really thinks Khan has a chance is
simply in denial.

It's absolutely nothing like the Gatti fight.

1. Mayweather was trying to burst into the scene with his first PPV, 2. trying to win a title at 140, and 3. Gatti was ranked #1 at 140. Gatti also had a lot of supporters and people actually liked this fight and some saw it as Floyd biting off more than he could chew. He was the favorite to win, but Gatti was a live underdog because of his size and power and the momentum he had going for him going in to the fight. He had a respectable 5-0 winning streak from 2003-2005.

There's nothing respectable about Khan's recent resume, he has no momentum, no title, ranked #3 at 140 only by default because nothing else is going on there, his recent wins are no where near Leija, Branco and Ward caliber.
