This is the primary issue with boxing. People can fight who and when they want to. The best should always have to fight any challenger worthy to retain the belt. If the second best fighter in the world never gets a chance to fight the best then the system doesn't seem fair.

Another bullsht again: more people want to see Maidana and MayChicken fight. However, Midget Mayweather wants to retire easily. How come he doesn't just go after Pacman and then retire? THis guy is a joke, a clown, a phony, and a wanna-be boxer. Send him to Russia to run track, instead. I'm sick and tired of this bozo.

I remember when boxing was in charge of this sport and it was mandatory for the champions to fight the top ranked #2 or #3 bottomline or got strip of there belts...This sport is over run now by fighters with there high demand when there getting high pay checks....Its ok if they get the money they do but fight the next fighter that is do next in line in the same weight divison that has been fighting to earn a chance not a fighter that comes up or down to fight a champion for the money....Right is right...

Thanks Floyd, saved me the PPV costs with this bout. Folks it's pretty simple, you want to see Money vs. Pac? Don't pay for either of their fights, when they draw horrible PPV numbers, they'll get the message, that no one is going to pay for them to fight anyone else. Just like if your sports team is terrible, stop going to the games, when they don't get revenue, they'll change the plan....

When the clowns keep stepping in there to pay $70 for PPV in hopes of watching Floyd get knocked out, he said himself, he'll keep hand picking opponents, and gravy train getting $30M-$40M with every fight; the least amount of risk each time on the way to the bank. He's nowhere close to the legendary status of the greats Robinson, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Arguello, Chavez Sr, Dela Hoya, Mosley, and more recently Pacquiao, before him. Those guys wanted to fight the best of the best, in their primes, win, lose, or draw.

He gave fans a choice of 2, either of which is a joke and he knows they were cherry picked so he can win. That's not much of a real choice. It might as well be a US Presidential election.

Mayweather has taken ducking Pac to the next level. I don't think there's ever been a case of ducking in the history of boxing that even comes close to this. How embarrassing...

Ever other boxing site that had a poll had Chino winning that vote by huge margins. This is just another DUCK

Excuse me. Whose twitter account did the fans cast their votes? Fans, you cannot trust this guy. He probably rigged the count to make it appear the fans made the choice, not Floyd. If the count was true, then it will good news for Floyd coz at least there will be 20,105 fans who will buy the PPV. It's bad news for Showtime, though. Showtime will lose a lot of money coz no one in their right mind is going to buy the fight.
