I find it hard to respect anyone's p4p ranking when they still have Ward ranked when he hasn't had a fight in over a year and didn't have a fight scheduled in time to still be considered for ranking.
Why does everyone still rank Andre Ward in their p4p ranking.

He has a fight coming up,, he got injured,,, Floyd usually only fought once a year,, i still had him #1.....
Ward has just been injured, and then trouble finding an opponent, now he is back on track, serg will be out for a year by the time he fights again,, but i can see how people still have him listed -
Because he is the #2 fighter in the world. In his last 2 fights he outclassed word class champions Carl Froch & Chad Dawson this is right after he unified the SMW division. The OP of this thread really needs to brush up on current boxing 101. lolComment

I know who Ward beat but I also know Ward hasn't fought anyone in over a year nor did he have a fight schedule before a years time.
What's the point of having rules when people just ignore them to fit their agenda.
Ward hasn't fought in a year so no one should rank him until he does.Comment

There is no rule that a fighter has to fight in a 1yr window. Especially one who is an undefeated champion & former gold medalist. The WBA hasn't asked him for his belt back & I think the WBA sanctioning body has more of an interest in his activity level thatn you do. Boxing experts are focused on what he has done & what he is doing. Like I said before his last 2 victories were against 2 highly rated champions (Carl Froch & Chad Dawson). Now he is fighting a young undefeated fighter in a few weeks in a title defense.I know who Ward beat but I also know Ward hasn't fought anyone in over a year nor did he have a fight schedule before a years time.
