he was off balance and dropped his hands while punching-something he does frequently but his opponents usually can't take advantage because they are not counterpunchers on the level of JMM.
Thats not risking it all-thats failure to fix whats broken and having it catch up to you.
we can agree to disagree on this one. pac uses feints frequently indeed, and most fighters fall for it every time... nobody is ever reckless enough to throw in between pac's punches. jmm had 4 tries to perfect that punch. he knew exactly how to deal with pac's feint & land that shot.... also, only jmm had the balls and determination to stick his hand in the blender for a chance at that KO.
what you consider a flaw in pac's game was his biggest asset that reduced many elite fighters to cowering little children scared to get touched.
yes, we ALL know pac's lunging feint-jab-straight left combo, but only jmm was able to do something about it. everyone else failed to neutralize it.
pac couldve EASILY backed off and let the round end, but he chose to go in... thats either idiotic or commendable... but honestly, if pac played it safe, the criticisms would be astronomical. it was pac's fault for fighting emotional & looking to seek and destroy. but hey, his risks usually bring reward, unfortunately for him this risk ended in jmm packing his bags and never looking back. hahahaComment

At the end of the day Bradley and Rios both won..Deal with it and move on..The only thing to do is for Pac to rematch and show the first fight was a fluke..I believe he knows that's a tall order,no matter how the public wants to depict that fight..
If so easy ,come on Pac get redemption..Comment

To me, the pro-Pacquiao folks are talking outta both sides of their asses on this one. On one end, they're screaming that Bradley was offered a rematch and turned it down as a way to massage Team Pac clearly wanting to go in another direction for whatever reason. Outta the other, they're saying Timmy isn't a draw, hence Pac shouldn't worry about a rematch. Which one is it? Because from where I'm sitting, if he was sellable enough to warrent Pac offering him a rematch. What exactly has transpired since that makes him unworthy now? That logic doesn't make sense to me.
after the KO, team pac was scrambling to land a decent fight since their stock plummeted... i mean, tim is NOT a draw. at the moment, that still hasnt changed. i believe tim would be a meaningful rematch for pac, but i dont know if it will be as financially fruitful... risk vs reward situation.Comment

Rios is not getting any **** about the Abril fight..I don't even hear anyone talk about it anymore..Or at least not as often as people wanna bag on Bradley..Who has a solid win over Marquez..

But it's good you're consistent about this. Lara lost to PWill, right? There's more thread ideas for you.Comment

Pac wasn't battering JMM. He had been dropped and was only up a point on every card at the time of the stoppage. I wish Pac's worshipers would stop trying to re-write history. That **** probably flies in your personal lives with casual fans. But don't bring that bull**** to other hardcore followers of the sport.
even nacho & jmm ADMIT they were in trouble in that fight and they were down on the cards.... jmm also admitted pac hurt his nose GREATLY & his breathing was affecting him.
its funny how you biased fans push your agenda even though the fighter your sucking off proves you wrong. funny how nacho and jmm acknowledged the danger in that fight but you cant.
if an almost broken nose and a face full of blood on wobbly legs doesnt equate a battering, then i need to get my eyes checked.Comment

The "Boring" label is what people use when they don't want to fight you because your style is difficult for them to deal with
Remember when Donaire was using the "Rigondeaux Is Boring" excuse then we find out once they got into the ring with each other the real reason why he was so reluctant to fight Rigondeaux!
Pacquiao is a great fighter...but he need to be put up against Brawlers to look his best!Comment

actually, its called fighting a career rival 4 times... and finally the rival finds success.

JMM is the only fighter pac fought who had the counterpunching skill to take advanatge of those mistakes. its not surprising to knowledgeable fans that non counterpunchers couldn't take advantage.
Pac didn't take any risks, he fought the same way he always does-it works better against bigger, slower, less skilled opponents. If manny had kept his hands up or had better balance at that point the punch doesn't land. Its his fault that he hasn't fixed this flaw. I don't know how that is fighting emotionally.
He just made some mistakes. its ok to admit it.Comment

Lara vs Pwill was an actual robbery, yet Lara still did lose..I don't need to start up a thread about them,I did not think Rios Abril was a robbery either..I thought Abril won,I also felt the fight was close tho..Same with Pac Bardley..I felt the fight could have went either way,Lara Pwill was not the same kinda fight..If your trying to suggest they were,I say ya need ya eyes checked..Comment
