I think earning a draw after 3 1st round KD's, then having the majority think you won the 3rd fight is success.
JMM is the only fighter pac fought who had the counterpunching skill to take advanatge of those mistakes. its not surprising to knowledgeable fans that non counterpunchers couldn't take advantage.
Pac didn't take any risks, he fought the same way he always does-it works better against bigger, slower, less skilled opponents. If manny had kept his hands up or had better balance at that point the punch doesn't land. Its his fault that he hasn't fixed this flaw. I don't know how that is fighting emotionally.
He just made some mistakes. its ok to admit it.
listen, it pains me to talk to such biased posters... ive praised both pac and floyd when deserved, ive also criticized them.... but when any positive pac statement gets flagged as pac-fanboyism, i just shake my head....
pac lost to bradley.... pac got KO'd by jmm.... why are you guys STILL unhappy???? HAHA. let it go.Comment

I'm a big Pac fan, have been for yrs..Let's keep it real tho, this sounds like Bradley was boxing well so let's put him down kinda thread right here..
I was disappointed when Pac did not rematch Bradley the first fight, and fought Marquez instead..I'd still be disappointed if he did not fight Bradley now..He needs to right that wrong imo..Esp because Bradley beat Marquez,oh and he earn a t least 8 mill for the fight as well..If Pac offers Bradley anything less, imo it's a b1tch move and Pac really don't want the fight..
i honestly think pac/tim II is on the way...Comment

He got the decisive win but he didn't fight JMM the way PAC fought JMM. Not knocking Bradley, he boxed him. PAC went to war with him each time. That's also why Pacs team is saying Tim was boring. It's like the Ruslan fight, Tim is only exciting when he's brawling. When he's boxing its not that great. Great for him cuz he's better off that way.
The reason they say he is boring is because they need a reason to either not fight him, or have a stronger negotiating stance.Comment

of course jmm DIDNT taste success before the KO. why do you think he was so butthurt???? if you want to jump on the bandwagon of "jmm beat pac 4 times" then so be it... i guess youre on the "jmm beat tim" bandwagon too??? or do you not believe him now? how convenient.

I responded to your intial post because in it you suggested that manny lost in part because of a risk he took.
Manny didn't take a risk while Bradley fought safe. He didn't fight any differently than he ever fights, there was just an opponent who could capitalize off his mistakes. They each fought the way they are best equipped.
A risk is what Bradley took trying to out slug Provodnikov when he easily could've boxed and moved as he did before that fight and subsequently with JMM.Comment

Pac vs Bradley would be interesting legacy wise. But c'mon, that fight is gonna suck. Pac can't cut off the ring and Tim will just glide around the ring volume jabbing again. It worked for the last quarter of their first fight and it worked for him during the JMM fight.
You really wanna see that?Comment

Bradley turned down a rematch with Pacquiao originally, because he knows he got a gift in the first fight. He didn't want to risk a loss which would have knocked him back down the ladder. Look at his reaction when he heard that he had won against Manny. He was a little shocked! He nearly lost to a virtual unkown in Provodnikov. Rios would kill Bradley, because he just doesn't stop coming and Bradley won't be able to hurt him. He apparently figured out Marquez, but that's not too hard to do. Marquez is a counter-puncher, so how does one beat him? Don't give him anything to counter! Marquez did himself a disservice on 24/7 by telling how he beat Pacquiao. He said that he knows Manny lunges forward when he feints, so he just waited for the opportunity and struck with the right. His trainer Nacho also mentioned that they were worried about Manny's temper after the first knockdown. He went after Marquez after that, which opened him up for a counter. Of course, Bradley paid attention to all of this information, and used it well. He may have won, but he still only pulled off a split decision against a 40 year old JMM. Pacquiao is better off fighting other fighters right now, to get his mojo back. He wouldn't look good against a non-hungry, over-cautious Bradley. If he is successful against Rios (which is a tough match after a K.O. loss) and one or two more fights, a rematch with Desert Shower will no doubt happen.
Rios would kill Bradley? Okay I can't find anyone outside of Garcia's gym besides yourself who believe that.
If figuring out Marquez was so easy why hasn't Pac in 4 tries? I mean he should be completely dominating this guy by now.
And the last one says it all. You're pretty much admitting Pac needs someone to come straight at him to do anything or look goodComment
