You should just erase the thought of Mayweather fighting at 160 out of your mind. It's not going to happen.

Only chance is if Cotto miraculously beats Martinez. Which won't happen.

I would say Devon and the winner of Lara/Trout are more likely than Quillin. The Lara/Trout winner would be his mandatory and Devon would be a unification fight.

What sucks about 147 is the 4 champions won't fight each other:

      Bradley is Top Rank
Broner is friends with Floyd and Devon
Floyd won't fight Devon because of $$$

I think Mayweather-Alexander could happen and could easily happen next May.

I pray it won't happen. It would be an absolute stinker.

On the flipside though, who's been unified champion in two weightclasses at the same time?

            Yeah, would be very boring.

Can't really hate a unification fight though.

The more I think about it, the more I think the Alexander fight is going to be next.

Only thing is it wouldn't sell and would be very boring.

I think it would fail miserably at the box office. Alexander doesn't bring anything to the table aside from his belt, but Floyd is running out of options.

If I was Floyd, I'd fight Khan for sure. Out of Danny, Alexander & Khan he'd provide the biggest payday. And let's face it, Mayweather is all about the money, he doesn't need credibility.

The thing about Floyd fights is even fights with exciting high volume fighters like Guerrero are stinkers. Floyd makes his opponents adjust to him.

Yeah it wouldn't do very good numbers.

I don't think any of the options will do great numbers.

Very true. But at least fight someone who's usually entertaining in the ring. Maybe two negatives makes a plus, and Mayweather-Alexander would be a great fight.

I just don't think the public would by it, and they hype would be less than what it was against Guerrero. And that was pretty little hype.
