Money talks and I'm guessing, unless Canelo is fighting Cotto, or Chavez Jr. or Sergio, his options for a big pay day are pretty limited, imo. Part of Canelo's draw was his potential to fight and beat Floyd. That is gone now, so now what?
Canelo will make more $$$ headlining his own events than he ever made on Floyd's undercards. With Floyd making those huge guarantee's that doesn't leave much for the undercards and ginger doesn't need the exposure. The guy filled up the Alamodome and is still a huge draw with the Mexican fan base. Golden Boy wants to set him up now for when Floyd is done to be the next cash cow. I think he does one more Showtime fight and then its all PPV fights for him after that.

Its why I said all summer the Floyd fight was a no lose situation for him. Win and he became the next ODL type draw. Lose and he is still young. If he keeps winning in a few years everyone will chalk up the Floyd fight to inexperience.

Meixcans would root for their latin brother in Garcia. Mexicans only "hate" puerto ricans when theyre against each other. But yeah it wouldnt be as many mexicans... Doubt Canelo would do an undercard to Floyd, might be too proud. Maybe they get the winner of Broner-Maidana vs ortrees. Thatd be nice

Khan can line up a fight at 140 against Khabib

Or he can take on the Argentinian legend Ceasar Rene Cuenca

I think it will be Ghost

Because Garcia isn't moving up to 147 yet

If Khan can beat Ghost and do more damage to him than Floyd did, then its a good way to get his rep back up

It'll be a tough fight whoever Khan faces at 147

A few potential opponents that I didn't see mentioned yet: Josesito, Abregu, Cano.

As a Khan fan, I wouldn't be mad at any of those fights as long it's not marketed as a setup for the Mayweather fight in May, unless he looks beastly at 147.

Thinking the same thing ... Also think he can win. Sounds crazy I know but Mathysse freezes when his opponents are throwing punches in combination if khan can keep busy and with combos and move away at the right angle he might be able to pull it off... Mathysse isn't necessarily great at cutting off the ring either... Khan might be able to keep it in the center of the ring. Big if's but still possible and I would give him a ton of respect for taking that fight.
