Depends if he can walk through Broner and if his power is overrated. We don't know if it is because Paulie never really let Broner set.

Strength and conditioning coaches aswell as other technological advances are literally revolutionizing boxing. Every major fighter today is getting tested while they're performing at a high levels.

Old school boxing techniques are changing too, now they've been replaced by natural talent, raw skills and athleticism like Ward, Floyd, Broner etc. Fighters are adapting and embracing different stances like the philly shell. Standing in the middle of the ring and swinging like a wild man with no skill isn't whats cool anymore because fighters that do that get schooled. Look at the P4P rankings and you'll see that the top 5 fighters are undefeated, defensive, and extraordinary talented.

      P4P

      1.Mayweather
      2.Ward
      3.Bradley
      4.Broner
      5.Rigondeux

The man that brought this change forth is the King of boxing today. It doesnt matter how much you hate him. He's the best and it's unquestionable. He introduced testing, He single-handedly cleaned the sport, he made being defensive and using your legs cool, he's improving boxing little by little and I think that's going to be a major part of his legacy.

      This thread is lame.
Plenty of fighters used the shell. And there are
Well known styles and unorthodox styles.
Your mentioning the top of the mountain.
Id love you to list the up and comers
And prospects, contenders of that style you speak.

This era right now is very watered down.
More talent in the 90's and 80's and 70's

To suggest that a fighter yesterday isnt as good as a fighter today is
      Dumb.

To suggest it as if the fighters today know what they know
Without guys like flash elorde, joe louis
      And duran is dumber.

      What if
They had the media , the workouts, and the coaches
      And the vitamins .

We can go on and on.
      Floyd is not floyd without
      SRR,leonard,jones jr,and willie pep.

Like kobe isnt kobe without MJ. Got get your moves from someone right

Styles come from skill sets, talent and intangables combined with creativity within their borders of capability.

Just cause your black dont mean your faster,
Just cause your faster or more athletic dont make you better
      Or more effective.

I see hundreds of am prospects every day
And half are trying to floyd and getting beat up
By basic boxer punchers and pure boxers and outside fighters.
      .

There are levels to this . The main styles known will never go away

Not particular artists. More like sub-genres.

        1. "I'm a fan of hip hop but I hate everything that comes out of New York. I only like the sound that comes from ATL."

        2. "I' love hip hop but I hate boring rappers that focus on lyrics. I just want to hear good beats that I can dance too and get the girls dancing"

        3. "I love hip hop because of the true lyricists that take pride in their lyrics. I can't listen to this watered down mainstream crap. Go listen to pop."

Come to think of it hip hop and boxing debates are strikingly similar.

That midget couldn't hurt him so he kinda just stood there with him. He will fight different vs Chino.
