You're right about Canelo's lack of amateur pedigree and age. Good question too.

There is a lot and I mean a lot of hype from Loma, so I can see why some people aren't ready to crown a guy ATG after just one fight. I was just saying if a guy (with no amateur exp) who fights nobody for 35 fights and has one good fight in Trout and because he fought Floyd is deserving of the hype (not dis*****g it), surely a guy with almost 400 amateur fights and a near flawless record fighting someone in his first fight who is light years better then the normal first opponent, deserves a little hype too.

He deserves more hype than anyone in recent memory but I don't want to have to hear about how he'll put so and so in the hospital and all the other nonsense that accompanies the hype

If there was ever fighters who deserved hype, it's Rigo and Lomachenko. Especially considering the fast starts to their careers. IMO

You have to remember the level of opponent he fought in his debut. Guys with 10-15 fights have looked worse against lesser guys of the same style.

Loma is showing us more in his pro debut than Rigo. Rigo is chinny as hell and closing up on his mid 30'. Loma can definitely be greater than Rigo.
