Marquez is not worthy of top p4p status. Think about it, he caught an overaggressive PAC in a fight he was losing. Outside of that, why notable wins does he have in the last decade? He is the best at fighting PAC, but that's it. Bradley gave him a boxing lesson last night. Both PAC and Bradley are mor accomplished than marquez and deserve to be ranked above him.
Marquez not a top 5 p4p fighter

One trick pony just good at fighting Pacquiao who he studied relentlessly, he should thank his lucky stars that Pacquiao gave him all those rematches. -
I think you are probably right about Marquez not belonging in the top 5 pound for pound. He might still be a top 5 pfp fighter if he returned to 135. He weighed in at 144.5 and looked a bit fat for a boxer in top shape. He probably did not have to dry out at all to weigh 144.5. He will be outweighed in the ring by every welterweight he fights and he will still be heavier than he should be to do his best fighting. Packing those extra pounds hurts his speed and stamina. He is really a lightweight and even at 40 I think he could still beat any lightweight in the world. I think there are other welterweights that would probably beat him because they are too big and strong for him. I think he is also small for the 140 pound wight class. Lightweight is where he belongs if he does not retire.Comment

I agree, Marquez is old and can be outboxed, but he has Pac's numberMarquez is not worthy of top p4p status. Think about it, he caught an overaggressive PAC in a fight he was losing. Juan Manuel Marquez is 40 years old and well above his prime weight class. What he did these past few years given the circumstance is nothing short of amazing, but of course let's diminish the career of one of this era's great fighters and call him "overrated" instead.Comment

he's not a natural welter. He's fighting above his class and has done competitively enough, and put to sleep the top p4p boxer.
Bradley walks at 180 pounds right?
He could have stayed at 135 and would be undefeated.
That's the problem of taking risks: fans want boxers to do it, yet if they lose they're bums.Comment
