    • Just finished watching the fight, a CLEAR win for Bradley, 9 rounds to 3.

      • I had it 116-112 for Bradley.

I can't understand how Marquez and Nacho are crying "robbery"? I just don't see it.

        • The loss is partly nachos fault for telling Jmm he was winning the fight during the fight, just like the PAC fight, so he should blame himself, to me Bradley lost to PAC only but he does not score the fight so I don't hate on him for that, the ?s should go to bob and top rank I think, **** happens in Vegas when left to the judges we all know that, it's not right but that's how it is.

          • Nacho sounds like a hypocrite. First he criticized Saul Alvarez' camp for not having a plan B and properly preparing Canelo against Floyd Mayweather and now look how the tables have turned. He didn't properly prepare Marquez for Timothy Bradley either.

This time around Joel Diaz out coached him. He drafted the perfect game plan to neutralize Beristain's pupil Juan Manuel Marquez strengths and it worked to perfection. This time around, it was Nacho who was the unprepared one and did not have a plan B for Bradley's superior boxing skills.

He didn't prepare on working on cutting off the ring and fighting at a much faster pace or at a higher work rate against a mobile Timothy and he paid dearly for it. Instead we got the same old counter-puncher mode Marquez fighting off the back foot, with the lower work rate and slower feet.

Moreover, he badly underestimated Timothy Bradley and got his fighter schooled, as Tim put on one of his better boxing clinics in years. Beristain prepared JMM for the Timothy Bradley who stood, fought and traded punches with Ruslan Provodnikov flat-footed but it backfired.

The irony and what makes it even worse is that Bradley had even gone so far as to tip off his strategy to Marquez' camp on the "Face off" interview with Max Kellerman; When he said quote "You cannot hit what is not there".

To a reasonable person, that meant he was going to out box Marquez by using his legs. So why didn't Nacho prepare for that? Also, why would he think that one of the lightest, feather-fisted punchers in the sport, who was nearly KO in his last fight would stand and exchange power punches with a dangerous counter-puncher as his pupil JMM?

I think that Nacho is in denial and this is way of saving face. He's trying to convince himself that Juan won the fight but deep down he knew that his fighter lost and wasn't nearly as active enough as he should have been and was dominated for the majority of the fight.

Throughout the fight Bradley showed great reflexes, a sharp jab, and excellent movement with his legs. Marquez landed the occasional blow to get the crowd into the fight, but ultimately the Mexico City star simply failed to get into enough of an offensive rhythm to the tide of the fight.

At the post-fight press conference, Marquez’s longtime trainer Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Beristain seemed gracious when speaking to the press.

Stop crying. Marquez and his camp are always talking about being robbed.

              • Marquez being a ***** as usual. Everytime he loses a close decision, he acts like he won by a landslide. He did it after the Pac loss, which, fine, marquez could have won, but regardless it was a close fight, could have went either way. He ends up looking like a chump when he acts like this. This one Bradley def won, hes gotta learn to act at least a little classy after a close fight. You see this a lot, the *****iness after a close fight, in a lot of Mexican boxers these days. ie: JCC JR after his last fight, when questioned if he thought he lost the fight. It was clear as day that the fight was at least close, but he acted like a total ***** when called on it. Nothing against mexicans but this is a common trend. Gotta call a spade a spade.

                  • Marquez and Nacho are so used to screaming robbery now that they scream it even when the fight wasn't close. Saying he beat Bradley is like saying Marquez won 3-4 against Floyd, no one in their right mind saw that.

Nacho and Marquez can't handle losing.
