Was the American commentary as bad as the British commentary?

They were a bit OTT, but I could see what they were seeing too. Bradley was controlling the fight, almost from start to finish and it was making Marquez look average. They always do that though in both the US and here, they tend to go with the early pace setter and stick with them until they're rocked or the fight's over.

I used to like Halling as an NFL analyst, but he's really not suited to boxing. Gets far too opinionated for a lead commentator, doesn't get the role at all. He should call the action and STFU.

Jim Watt said you could count Marquez clean punches on your thumbs yet he ended up having it reasonably close 116-113 I think he had it (One round even)

For the record, I thought Bradley did win a well earned decision, so this isn't me whining over the verdict. I had Tim by two points and don't see anything wrong with having the fight even a little bit wider, but the commentary was so overly biased in Bradley's favour that you'd think Bradley were dominating almost every round.

Agreed, I didn't think JMM won or anything and yes I also had it to Bradley by 2 points on first watch maybe could be 8-4 but its just the way they try to paint JMM as all negative. I was laughing whilst ignoring their ignorant cheerleading. They had feature Bradley all week so am guessing they are showcasing him now.

Both were disgracefully bad tonight. It was the worst commentary I've ever heard from Jim Watt, and that's saying something.

When Marquez landed, they both somehow turned it into a positive for Bradley or as they often did, simply ignored it. An absolute disgrace. Both should be fired immediately.

Saw and heard Malignaggi doing commentary with the British commentators. Glad he has found a part time job other than boxing.

Roy was slurping off Bradley as expected.

Lampley was his usual terrible self.

Max Kellerman, who I consider the voice of reason, didn't really bring much to the commentating this night.
