Keith Thurman is nearly hyped to GGG levels, and he's not even a champ like GGG.

Do people remember that Chaves guy giving him some trouble? I did.

Who's hyping Thurman? I remember a bunch of hate threads right after the fight.

No he won't, this is an epic mismatch. Keith Thurman will knock Karass out. I guarantee that.

Already? Jeez... I guess a fighter can't have fans unless he's already beaten everyone in his division

Its Soto Karass, man... Not Manny Pacquiao

Hell, this was a prime example of Soto Karass getting hyped for beating Berto

Thurman works all 12 rounds, and throws thunder on each shot, and his kryptonite should be gassing, but it isn't. Also, the Chavez fight gives me way more confidence in Thurman as a fighter. That's all I really had to see out of him to know he's ready for the Karass/Guerrero's of this world.

I like Thurman but what did you see in Chaves? I think people maybe a bit clouded by his record. I didn't think much of Chaves and felt he was trying to be something he isn't. He looked awfully slow and awkward in his movement, couldn't help but feel he was another Hector Saldivia

Thurman stops Karass. And I like Karass, however it is what it is.

I never looked at his record. I saw the way he fought. Chavez is a super tough dude. A lesser fighter would've quit against him that night.

Thurman proved that he's a top fighter against Zaveck and showed his gameness against Chavez. They both obliged each other in a dog fight. Youccan'tget technical with a fight like that. You have to be impressed with the guy that comes out on top in a fight like that.

                  Thurman's the real deal.

Did you watch the Chavez fight? I mean seriously. This thread has to be a joke.
