I think it's a good test for Thurman and he will pass it with a KO win. Karass is not hard to hit and Thurman is a damn good puncher and a good finisher when he hurts a guy. He is close to all KOs and I think he will rack up another one.

Keith Thurman is approaching his prime. This is possibly a complete mismatch in Thurman's favor. Though, Karass's newfound confidence could surprise us by catching KT with an unseen punch that KO'd Berto. But KT is not Berto.

Guy's been proven ever since he dominated Zaveck. Someone Berto went life and death with, before the refs stopped the fight on cuts.

Yeah, Berto's a bum, but he was thought of as a potential superstar, and showed flashes of brilliance. Thurman went out there and treated the guy like a class A bum (which he isn't).

Chavez just solidified that Thurman can hang with and take punishment from any WW in the game. Also won't quit, be there til the end.

Karass isn't a pushover, but I expect a Thurman win in spectacular fashion, and a bunch of posters still underrating him.

It's cool to hype up Broner, but Thurman gets treated like a redheaded step child.
Word I couldn't agree with you more they keep throwing him into the fire and do even make him a co main undercard

Thurman proved that he's a top fighter against Zaveck and showed his gameness against Chavez. They both obliged each other in a dog fight. Youccan'tget technical with a fight like that. You have to be impressed with the guy that comes out on top in a fight like that.

            Thurman's the real deal.
This. You dont have to be slick and fast to be good. Chaves looked real good in there as did Thurman. It wasnt the record it was how effective they BOTH were and the adjustments they were making. Chaves bets a lot of 147 guys with that size, power, and toughness along with his weird toolset. He seemedto gas and Thurman doesnt neglect the body and pulled it out. That was a damn good fight. Chaves looks like a diamond in the rough and could be a champion under the right tutelage and/or matchmaking. Thurman looked good in that fight BECAUSE Chaves looked just as good if not better in spots. Like you said, if you cant be impressed with the winner of such a fight then imo I don't think you can look at this sport objectively and there is clear bias.

Thurman via stoppage. Really surprised at how Thurman was able to flip the switch in the chavez fight and be a little mobile, box and place his shots in a more precise manner. He and Garcia really did well against Chavez and Matthysse.

Soto-Karass has shown that he can absorb a beating, and Thurman won't be shy in dishing it out. Thurman via TKO6.

If it goes late and is a war, will be interesting to see how Thurman holds up if Karrass is still pouring it on.

This is an awesome fight! Really good step up and test for aThurman. I am interested to see how he does. Karass is tough, but I think Thurman is too fast and can outbox and hurt him.

                    It will be good though!
