Maybe so. He just still seemed to be getting surgically picked apart to me, all fight long, until the butt.

He did get picked apart for the first 6 rounds. The 7th and 8th rounds Salido was able to close the gap a little and land some decent punches. Salido has a wealth of experience and finishes fights strong usually. I'm not saying Salido would've won had he fight gone longer but I do think he tide was turning a little and Salido was going to drag him into deep waters.

I think a rematch would be fitting. If Mikey beats Martinez he doesn't have a ton of options at 130. I'd love to see Mikey fight Mendez of Burgos. But besides those fights there isn't many fights that can be realistically made.
