Comments Thread For: Photos: Povetkin Presser To Discuss Wladimir Klitschko

Heavyweight contender Alexander Povetkin (26-1, 18KOs) took part in a press conference in Moscow, Russia with promoter Andrei Ryabinsky, who staged last Saturday's big card that saw Povetkin lose a twelve round decision to IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko. Ryabinsky is going to pursue a Klitschko rematch for Povetkin, who wants a second chance to get the titles. The fight had a lot of critics when it was over, with many unhappy that Klitschko was clinching and using rough tactics during the fight.

Is he holding a horsehoe in the last picture?
      Why?

Edit: Oh right, he'll need that in his glove to have any chance in the rematch

This time the ref will be appointed by Vladimir ***** himself...
You will likely to get a true Soviet Union Revival fight...
(Wlad has nothing to do but to accept the rematch.)

Y'know something... let's do it again. Have the rematch. However, it would be written in the contract that if Wladimir pushes down on Povetkin's head just once, he gets DQ'ed on the spot and loses every one of those belts.

Mr. ***** didn't attend the fight. Just wait and see how "nicely" they will go for the rematch.

There is absolutely noway I will be watching a rematch. Mr Ryabinksy or whatever his name would have to pay me 17 million to go through the torture.

No point and no chance, but if Wlad actually had to fight in the rematch we could at least get a knockout out of it. That fight was a disgrace to the sport.

Chances are a rematch would turn out similar, but boy I'd actually be interested in seeing them fight with a REAL referee, not that Pabon d1ckhead.
