How could they sell a rematch to a fight that completely stunk and one fighter was dominant. Nothing would change and would likely be another crap fight.
I remember hearing Gil Clancy talking about his fighters that had just lost a fight and the fighter would say "get me him again" and Clancy would reply "you just had him." Well, Povetkin just had him and it was a disaster. He doesn't have any justification to get him again.

Some Russians paid for the fight. Wlad is Ukrainian. A rematch would be possible.

A rematch to this fight would be worth watching if it where literally written in the contract that clinching and pushing the head down would not be allowed in the fight.

I want to see this fight again. What Wlad did was criminal. Bring back Joe Cortez. You see what he did to Hatton when he fought Floyd. He literally forced him to use his skills.

Wlad didn't beat anyone senseless of make anyone look like Frankenstein. He fought like a chick trying to keep her pocket book from being stolen. Each time I see a K fan brag about their charge I well up with anger. Giving Wlad props for that **** performance just truly pisses me off.

If Wlad followed up the jab with a right hand more he would of got Povetkin out of there quicker IMO. He hardly threw it from what I remember

No point and no chance, but if Wlad actually had to fight in the rematch we could at least get a knockout out of it. That fight was a disgrace to the sport.

That was Wlad's fault though. Povetkin at least made an attempt to fight and win.
