I clearly remember both camps saying no matter what happens in the 4th fight that there will not be a fifth fight! Now you hear all the dumb s**t Roach be saying like, Marquez scared, grow some balls, we want a rematch ect.ect. Roach grimy ass just trying to get paid. You don't even hear Pacquiao saying to much about a rematch. It's just roach and arum greedy asses. Oh yeah and pacman delusional ass fanboys!Comment

I'm a Pac fan, and I wouldn't hate him wanting the 5th fight, but I don't particularly want it. Neither of these guys have many fights left, and I want something new with those fights.Comment

The most talked about topic when it comes to Juan Manuel Marquez besides his upcoming fight with Timothy Bradley is a possible fifth fight with his arch nemesis Manny Pacquiao. After his knockout victory over Pacquiao, Marquez has been continuously asked if he would fight Pacquiao again.
During his last Los Angeles media day, Marquez was made aware that if he beat Bradley Saturday night and if Pacquiao defeated Brandon Rios in November, the demand for a fifth fight would once again be brought up.
“I don't know what's going to happen. I'm fighting this Saturday and Pacquiao will fight in November. I don't know what'll happen. I need to wait and see how things [turn out]. I think the chapter with Pacquiao is closed. I think so. The fifth fight doesn't interest me” said Marquez. [Click Here To Read More]Comment

Amazing how selfish people see the world and what short memories people seem to have.
I can well remember a shocked Marquez....after once again beating Pacquio and how incredulous he was about the ****** judges. I can remember Marquez declaring that it is not worth fighting Pac because of the judges.....
Marquez is not a ****** man. He knows that doing better than Pacquio is no guarantee of anything. He knows how long he had to live with a bitter taste in his mouth and how he had to literally recraft his arsenal to a point where instead of countering the mediocre pac attack, and showing mastery thereof...he had to become a puncher. Marquez was able to do this.
Why would he fight a guy who got such help from the judges...a guy who he showed total 100% mastery over....I mean lets think about this shall we?
a) Pacquio was succesful, he had marquez down and out. Marquez proved that he was so good that he came back from a sure KO victory from Pac
b) He also beats Pac on points twice and gets robbed twice, so now he has come back, won on points against the same opponent
c) Finally he retools, says fruck the judges I will find a way to KO this guy.... and he does.
If you are Marquez you have beat Pac every which way, what purpose does another fight prove? It is only a financial incentive, it means nothing really to any fan who can understand mastery, boxing and Marquez relationship to Pacquio. I don't even think Pacquio wants this fight frankly.
If the fight happens Marquez can look foward to getting robbed again because Marquez is not as marketable as Pacquio. Marquez knows this. He does not like to fight the way he had to win that fight imo.Comment
