Bob Arum and Top Prank propaganda at work again. Compare Terrance Crawford to Adrien Broner because Broner is relevant. Make excuses for Pacquiao and his strength coach in case he gets knocked out again. Use Cotto's performance over a C fighter as a way of saying that Floyd would duck Cotto. Everyone knows that the fight with Floyd was made when Cotto departed from TR so Cotto dealing with them again basically endures that he will not face any Golden Boy fighters. A fight with Martinez is the option so leave Canelo, Mayweather, and other GBP fighters out of it. Bob Arum makes me sick.

When will folks realize the Bob Arum is the road block. Yes Bob Arum. The man that was/maybe still trying to push a 5th fight between Pac & JMM on the public. If Manny really wanted to fight Floyd, he would have made the fight and not re-signed with Bob Arum. Pac is Arum's 1st cash cow. Should Cotto decide to sign with Bob for the duration of his career, he'll be Bob's 2nd cash cow. Sound familiar - ODLH then Floyd. He will throw Cotto to the wolves but not Manny.

He's not serious about it. Just using Floyd's name. Bob knows Floyd would embarrass Pac and in return embarrass him. He has too much pride to let Floyd in the ring with his golden goose while making him look like a hype job. Bob would rather feed the media BS hoping that it will negatively effect Floyd.

Like I said years ago, Bob Arum who's been in the game for decades is the one that makes or breaks a fight. Nobody knows or understand boxing better than him. If he wants something, he WILL get it even if he has to break the law. However there are certain things that he doesn't want as the long term investment would be effected. Why expose the hype by feeding Pac to Floyd early on? Bob can milk the **** out of Pac while appearing to want/make the fight for years and then in the end make it happen to cash out.

Bob's clever and he's not being serious here. However like Floyd, he sees an opening he will take it. Bob took a shot that was open but because it's Cotto we all know the shot is cheap because Floyd already beat him.

Absolutely but made that look like floyd too and he's younger than floyd people still made excuses...I hope he keeps winning and it would be more of the testament to floyd greatness. It amazes me how the entire boxing world has accepted and moved on from the fact the GBP and Top Rank aren't gonna work together, except when it comes to Floyd Mayweather. There is lil to no outrage when dozens of other great match-ups aren't made because of the promotional rivalry. Yet when Floyd doesn't mix with Top Rank guys, the world *****es and moans and cried duck. The fact is, right or wrong, Floyd isn't gonna do business with Arum. And since he's the current cashcow. It is up to other fighters to do whatever needs to be done to get a fight with him. And as of right now, that's means not tying yourself down to a promotional contract with Bob Arum.

I don't think Mayfeather will have any excuse not to go for this fight. Cotto is a free agent. The money is there. Except he'll probably demand a catchweight this time around.

If I was Arum I'd just cash Cotto out right now against Martinez. They said he has all these fights left in him and I just don't see it. I don't think he could beat Canelo, Trout, Martirosyan/Andrade, Lara, Molina.

Maybe I'm wrong, but if not, then who can he fight while building up the Martinez fight (if it even needs it)
