  • Floyd beats Cotto any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Especially since Floyd got Sr back in his corner teaching and telling him "Defense first" Floyd backed down Canelo. Cotto did good and won about 3 or 4 rounds but just because he bloodied Floyd nose don't make him capable of beating Mayweather. People forget that Floyd almost dropped Cotto in the 11th round with an uppercut. Cotto ain't beating Mayweather. More aggressive Cotto gets the more he gets beat up.

    • If he is gonna fight someone from Arum's neck of the woods, I'd rather see Floyd fight Pacquaio.

      • There is no reason for Floyd to fight Cotto, he will dominate with ease and he's already done that once, why do it again?

Oh come on Chris, like the majority of media in boxing, you're nothing but a glorified superfan desperate for site hits and freelance till you die. You use "journalism" as an excuse to be close to your sports heroes, get free tickets to fights, and be part of the scene. When the rest of the world works eight hours a day, you wake up at noon, hit up a boxing gym, and ask one boxing guy about his opinion of some other boxing guy. Everybody recognizes you as a pretend journalist which is why they never give you real breaks or stories and you have no contacts beyond fighters and trainers.

Don't make me roll your eyes that I should be "thankful" for your "work" when you've probably stolen tons of my tax dollars writing off "expenses" associated with your "career" in preted journalism.

On name alone, Pac and Floyd would generate the highest or one of the top highest grossing fights of all time. All he has to do is not lose anymore fights. He loses, and that's it.

Any time someone brings up Pac vs Floyd or any related subject, it is clear people are still drawn to the fight. If neither guy loses, the interest will remain strong. The world would be watching and the money would be pouring in.

You're not making any sense at all to me.. I do the things in this sport that I love to do, plain and simple...

Don't be mad at me just because I had a passion for this and found a way to stick with it and make something out of it...

Only now that he's ready to test in 2013 will he actually test. Funny how he doesn't look the same.
Add to that he no longer has his highly touted punching power. He hasn't hurt any one in years.

Just like JMM. Does anyone want to see JMM get beat every second of every round again?

Bob just using Floyd's name to promote Cotto. I'm sure old Bobby has an entire agenda lined up for Cotto. I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps Cotto far away from Floyd while trying to feed the media that Floyd is now all of a sudden scared of guy he already beat.

Cotto Alvarez is the fight that needs to happen and we all know Bob won't allow such a thing, reminiscent of Mayweather Pac. At least Bob has come completely clean and states that fights won't happen for obvious promotional issues.
What an idiotic post...JMM got absolutely routed by Floyd...Cotto on the other really gave Floyd a beating in a few rounds and imo if his stamina didn't run out could maybe of won...A rematch would be justified.

People are exaggerating the Mayweather vs Cotto fight in Floyds favor....Cotto did a damn good job and it was a close tough fight. Cotto dominated the middle rounds.

The Floyd nuthuggers are delusional...Cotto gave a damn good fight and that was not a "domination" by Floyd at all. A rematch would be good and a toss up.

Mayweather is overrated. I wasn't even that impressed with him against Canelo either...It was more how horrible and unmotivated Canelo looked than anything awesome that Floyd did. He wasn't that impressive against Guerrero either.

But Canelo looked like a glorified can in the Floyd fight...Was not impressed at all. He has 20lbs on a pillow fisted Mayweather and doesn't even try to pressure him....
