Rigo's handlers are trash at marketing. He isn't present at enough LARGE SCALE events. Being put in front of your already supporting crowd does not count as expanding your name and brand. This is why you saw Quillin hamming it up with his belt at the Canelo vs Mayweather weight in and he got people talking..that's the difference in viable marketing. The network cannot be the only source of promotion for you either.

I doubt it but ok...just because they toss you on someone's ppv does not automatically grow you a fanbase...those fighters under Haymon aren't depending on him exclusively they are out there where there are cameras and reporters.

He is the guy who beat Erik Morales before Morales fought Pacquaio for the second time (a fight Arum already had scheduled before the Raheem/Morales fight).
That's a dumb comparison. It would work if Rigo lost his next fight (ATG unwatchable), never won a title, and got ragdolled in South Africa.

They'll say nobody wants to watch him the ratings are poor. Rigo should jump ship as soon as his contract is up!
Man I was all hyped about this fight until you reminded me about the Zab fight on the same day. Friggin Arum

Rigo needs to jump to another promoter asap.

Rigodeaux needs a good performance. Not going to be easy against Agbeko.

Whoa this got signed. So thrilled for Rigo. Getting another big stage to show his skills.

Man I didn't think anybody remembered Raheem. I brought him up a few months back in a post. TV didn't really work out for him.

rigotards will pump this opponent up, but it's not a great opponent at all. agbeko is all but retired. rigondeaux gets a full pass, obviously, as the guy is the most avoided fighter in boxing not named gennady golovkin.
Who is there for him to fight? Anyone besides Donaire is a downgrade obviously. Hell, even a Donaire rematch is a downgrade in my book.
