Guillermo Rigondeaux will finally return on HBO, something that seemed highly unlikely months ago.
The recognized junior featherweight champion will defend his WBA and WBO 122-pound titles against Joseph Agbeko on Dec. 7 in Atlantic City, N.J. in the main event of an HBO-televised offering.
"We are excited on hearing the fight will go ahead December 7th and delighted that Joseph has stepped up to the plate to take on the number one 122-pound fighter," Rigondeaux's manager Gary Hyde told BoxingScene.com on Tuesday.
