Plenty of rough stuff is possible in retaliation.
I agree with this, Povetkin really didn't know what to do, he should have used some roughhouse tactics, especially as Wlad wouldn't have like that and it might have made a difference.

He should have drop kicked Wlad, and fully taken part in this MMA fight that Wlad was putting on.

Shoulder wouldn't have worked imo, WK is much bigger, heavier and more powerful. Povetkin would have expended more energy trying it. Headbutt can't work against a guy who is much taller, principally because AP wouldn't be able to reach him (there's a reason he was tucked under his armpit).

Elbows up is probably the best of them, but it's very obvious (and of course illegal). AP had a very difficult task, any fighter who can't compete with Wlad's reach does.

the heavyweight division is bad enough as it is without the so called champion hugging and holding all fcuking night.

honestly, i have no idea how people can sit through a full wladimir klitschko fight.

It's clearly a difficult task. But look at the opptions:

1: Keep doing what you do and take a terrific beating in the process or

2: Do something rough in retaliation and see what happens.

              AP chose option 1.

Yeah I agree. However, I think Povetkin is what Wlad labelled him pre-fight, "a gentleman", i.e. too nice.

I agree with this and still think a nutshot or 5 was his only viable option he could have at least done it until he lost a point but I guess gentlemen don't get anywhere in the ring

I'd agree if povetkin was a light heavyweight or something, but the homie is a big, tough fella himself. Hell do anything to at least retaliate in some sort of way. Lift him up and drive forward.. Do anything
