          I strongly disagree with this.

Although I have no problem with Lewis being considered a top 10 Atg, I don't believe he is a top 3, especially not " easily".

Ali and Louis are 1st and second in whatever order you like.

After those two, it is not so obvious, but guys like Holmes, Marciano, Frazier, Foreman, Dempsey, Jack Jhonson, Sonny Liston and Ezzard Charles all have a case for being in a top 10.

Also Holyfield , Tyson and Patterson are in the mix, maybe to a slightly lesser extent.

Maybe, one thing that is for sure is that many people still under rate the guy.

Of course. Highly skilled fighter with a very good resume. Lennox is the best heavyweight of his era.

Yes. And at their best most any top heavyweight can beat Lewis as well. Lewis will be competitive against all ATGs provided he's in shape and maintains focus (something he's had problem with).

I have Lewis at TOP 10 (on most days).

                      Joe Louis
                      Muhammad Ali
                      Larry Holmes

would win 4 out 5 fights. (IMHO)

                      Jack Johnson
                      Sonny Liston
                      George Foreman
Evander Holyfield (a younger version - we're talking about prime v prime here)

would beat LL 3 out of 5. (again IMHO)

Mike Tyson (with his head screwed on straight -- a big if)
                      Rid**** Bowe
                      Joe Frazier
                      Ernie Shavers
                      Ken Norton

would be toss-ups. The list get's too long. LL is an ATG.

                      TOP 10 at best.
