Ruddock was a solid contender, I don't deny that. But you cannot base your evaluation of Lewis' resume on how hyped a guy was at the time, but on how good he actually was.

By your logic,Guerrero should be considered a great win for Mayweather because he beat Berto. And Guerrero did actually beat Berto, unlike Ruddock with Tyson.

And I don't think Lewis fought in the 2nd best era ever
Actually uh you can.. If everyone says Ruddock was a monster..and Lewis literally blew him out .......... that's a very good win.

What's to say that Lewis didn't ruin him?

Also where are you basing your opinions of 'Ruddock Sucks' off of? You have video footage of Ruddock giving Tyson two great wars and dominating a bunch of decent Heavys. You have video footage of Ruddock being a massive puncher with that smash upper cut of his and you have video footage of Ruddock's obvious talents...............

If Sergio Martinez fights Gennady Golovekin RIGHT NOW and knock him the **** out in 2 rounds.. than GGG goes on to have a good career instead of great.. Does that make Sergio's win a 'good win' instead of a great win?

        No..

Sergio beating GGG right now will be a GREAT WIN. because everyone his hyping GGG up.

It's like saying 'Well Garcia don't deserve that much credit for beating Lucas because Lucas was just hyped...' He's hyped for a reason. Ruddock was hyped for a reason.

Why? You only need to make an argument if a poster is adamant that Lewis is NOT an ATG Heavyweight.. than you can argue with that poster. If 99% says yes.. than the only thing left is to gather more 'yes' votes and that's it.

          Is George Foreman an ATG?

Do you REALLY need to write out a essay proving why he is?

Lewis isn't one of these 'on the border' fighters. He's a definite ATG Heavyweight.

A QUESTION that actually need debate will be :

          Is Vitali Klitschko an ATG?

of course Lewis is an ATG Hwt. If you can make a list of 15 hwts greater than Lewis, your boxing IQ is verrrrrrrry low, verrrrry low

I will like to point out that the term 'journeymen' is thrown around too loosely here.

Ross Purrity is a actual journeyman.

Rahman at his best was a physical freak of nature.. 235+ pounds of brutal punching power and had a very good maybe even great jab. Rahman tend to get severely under rated due to

1-Lewis laying him flat out in the rematch
                2-Easier to discredit Lewis.

Oliver Mccall got the greatest chin in HW History.. or at the very least top 3 and could walk through anyone. That stoppage was also debatable.

                The bottom line is this:

Will you REALLY bet your life in a Prime Rahman vs Prime Douglas or Brewster fight? I will put Rahman as a favorite against either one.

Rahman already knocked out Prime Corrie Sanders...

I will pick Mccall over Sanders as well and is a toss up against Douglas.

The bottom line is this.. for Mccall to get that Bruno fight and for Rahman to even get to the level of challenging Lewis.. they don't sound like journeymen to me and they never were.

It's pretty disgraceful calling certain fighters journeymen just to downgrade other fighters you dislike............

Rahman was a sparring partner for Brian Nielsen and Nielsen handled him with ease.

You might Pick prime McCall over Sanders and why not? McCall KO'ed Lewis who later evened the score against drugaddict McCall who had no business being in a ring.
