Can't blame Freddie for trying to get paid...He's like a championship fighter who's a bit long in the tooth and seeking that golden parachute fight. That Pacquiao money just isn't what it used to be.

Regarding Freddie's comment, I disagree. Cotto would have been more open to counters being that Freddie trains aggressive offense and not defense. Because these 2 are elite boxers and HOFers, I wouldn't mind seeing a second fight. But with Floyd Sr. now in the corner, the more offensive minded Cotto faces a much better Floyd....

Not surprising since Floyd gets more gift decisions than anybody in boxing

I agree with ROACH,FLOYD was bleeding and lost the rounds when COTTO was offensive;with movements and pressing throwing his combos in this shape with ROACH i believe seriously COTTO would have won more rounds to go out victorious. FLOYD had his best moments when COTTO started to be more defensive.

not really...cotto will always have problems with fighters who got speed and who can beat him to the punch.
as to coach though, i agree that roach is a better fit for cotto because cotto's style is more effective when he puts more focus on offense and roach is that kind of coach.

If cotto fights floyd again, cotto is gonna get carved and served. Roach is talking out of his asss.

I though the first fight was entertaining. I think I had Cotto winning 3 rounds, but mostly every round was competitive. I would welcome a rematch. I'd much rather see them two dance again than Khan vs Mayweather.
