That fight was very close with the knockdown being the difference. His eye was shut less than halfway into the fight. He was in it and fighting hard until the end despite this disadvantage of not being able to see.
You can appreciate a fighter like that or you can keep praising the marathon runner picking his opponents and propping them up to be something they aren't.

To be fair, you're not alone, quite a few of the schadenfreuders on this thread are Floyd fans attempting to gloat because someone who was mentioned as a possible future opponent lost before they got to him.
But at the end of the day, Floyd is one who has really lost out because he could have been the one to overcome a highly rated Matthysse and he would have had a legit opponent for next May that everyone wanted to watch.
Now he's looking at Amir Khan and his fans are left defending it.
The reality of what I said is true.
Floyd didn't lose out on anything. All Matthysse had to do was win, and he was in the running. All Floyd does is win.
I gave you a reality of how fanatics peep boxing. The fact that you answered with the above also tells how much of a fanatic YOU are. Focus, lmao.

The fighters fight, and you give your opinion on the result.
Oh, you can also pick a winner before the fight. Or you can accuse a fighter of ducking a guy to make friends or mean what you say. Or you can live in the world of being a true boxing fan. Make a choice on the route that you want to go.
