freddies a terrible trainer and it would've been horrible for cotto had he been in there with an elite fighter..cotto's a great fighter and i did'nt see anything different. great win though.

you obviously need to get your eyes checked... Cotto was relentless to the body and if the fight went into the late stages it would have payed off big time

Cotto looked good people should give him credit. Rodriguez isn't a world beater but solid top 20 in his division and it shows Cotto is still top 5 in his division and deserves the PPV fights Whether it's Sergio or Canelo.

          KO3 is impressive, Trout didn't do that to Delwin . . .
I'm willing to bet all of my points that Cotto would not beat Sergio Martinez.

Miguel looked great, was really happy to see that.

Looked like he put in some real physical work in camp for the first time in years, combined with some of his old relentless body work and left hook...it was lovely to see.

On that form, Miguel can take Canelo. Just stay away from Sergio, it's a bad, bad idea.

Glad I was wrong about Cotto but really want to see him in with a better fighter now to really measure where he is at. Martinez demolishes him. Canelo fight would be a good one for him because Canelo is still developing but is a solid young fighter for his age and level. Winnable fight for Cotto but also one he could lose. Martinez is too fast and strong for Cotto.

Yes it was a weak opponent but think about this, would cotto had taken him out this early had he fought the same way he did with his previous trainer ??
