And how many people call Lomachenko, Errol Spence or Verdejo as the next big thing? Or how Rigo or gamboa were suppose to be "real" when they went pro? The guy just had his first pro fight, but gets so much hate for some reason. Every fighter fights a nobody in his debut. I'm not even a Joshua fan but if you have so much pessimism about his debut, you want him to fail. The kid looks better then 99% of HWs in their debuts against a better guy then most would face
Anthony Joshua is real

Boxing promoters and TV guys hyping their fighters...whatever next eh!?
As for the fight itself...as far as debuts go that was pretty impressive.
Very early days yet, but i'm looking forward to seeing him in action again soon.Comment

This, I can agree with. The rest, not so much. You're comparing guys like Lomo, Gamboa and Rigo to Joshua? Rigo is commonly considered one of the greatest amateurs of all time. Gamboa was a beast with hundreds of fights, and so was Lomachenko. But what does all that have to do with what I'm saying about Josh? And how many people call Lomachenko, Errol Spence or Verdejo as the next big thing? It's difficult enough to understand someone in person, you propose to know me based on some comments on this board? I don't care what happens with Joshua, and I certainly don't wish him to fail. What I take issue with is the assertion that he's "real." He may be, he might not be; but a first damn fight against a nobody means absolutely nothing. We've all seen some guys tear through twenty or so opponents before being exposed.Comment

Josh won the world champion ship and gold medal in the same year. He is literally the best HW prospect to become a pro from the amateur system recently. Theres's nothing wrong with hyping him, just like there isnt anything wrong with hyping up Rigo or Loma or Gamboa. Im sure you thought they were real deals 1 fight in. His hype is not coming from this fight, its coming from his amateur campaign and the progression he has shown. Sounds like you're still mad at him getting the robbery over SavonThis, I can agree with. The rest, not so much. You're comparing guys like Lomo, Gamboa and Rigo to Joshua? Please. You've got me mistaken for some whole other body.
You still don't get it. They can hype this guy to the heavens (which they are); I don't really give a shit. It's understandable -- laughable, but understandable. What I take issue with, for the last time, is TS calling Josh "real" due to his performance tonight. Hell, even with Rigo, whom I consider a sublimely gifted boxer, I wasn't sure until after Donaire. I'm supposed to think better of this guy? C'mon.Comment

I also find it funny
how certain Klitschko fans liked David Price but hate Anthony Joshua.
I mean they are both big and British.........with good manners and humble natures... I mean if you LIKE Price you SHOULD like Joshua right?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder why you guys hate Joshua...
Also... @ the ****** who said Price can KTFO out Joshua.
You mean right now? In Joshua's 2nd fight? Even than I don't know. Price got a utterly disgraceful glass *** chin... I think Joshua can kill him even now.
Tyson Fury said he was almost KTFO by Joshua in SPARRING YEARS AGO.
Joshua is only going to grow stronger and stronger and stronger.
In 3 years he's gonna be a faster version of Lennox Lewis and he's gonna beat the living **** out of old men Klitschkos.Comment
