I have no interest in a Matthysse rematch. In any case he should be rematching Judah, who actually gave a good account of himself, not to mention he hurt Garcia more than Lucas did.

Although come to think about it, I think Judah had a fight scheduled at 147, not too sure.

At any rate, Peterson makes sense, if only for the IBF strap.

Matthysse rematch is easily the best fight. The other good options are all Top Rank.

Judah was far less competitive than Matthysse.

And the funny thing is the IBF strap should be Garcia's cause Matthysse/Pete was a non-title fight.

I'd be interested in a Garcia/Peterson fight regardless though.

Danny didn't look great at the weigh in to me.

Now seems like the perfect time to move to 147 especially with a Mayweather fight looming and the fact he's obviously right near the top of the list of potential opponents

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer told ******.com on Wednesday that they've reached a deal to co-promote junior welterweight contender Dierry Jean alongside Canada-based Eye of the Tiger Promotiona, Jean's current promoter.

Jean is currently the mandatory challenger to Lamont Peterson for Peterson's IBF 140-pound title. Schaefer says they are working on that fight and it will likely take place on the East Coast.
