Why do people blame Floyd for the Canelo fight being boring?

Floyd stood in front of canelo long enough to hit canelo over 200 times so he couldn't have been moving the whole time . I was there watching it live and it wasn't boring , it was masterful .

Same reason they blame Rigo for the donaire fight. They don't know **** about boxing

I beg to differ, not a floyd fan, bt his fight vs cingerbread man was a good skrap. the rigo/donaire fight wasnt nearly as exciting because rigo, although he won and boxed a lot, but also ran A LOT too...

Floyd was fighting the champ who was undefeated. Let me see pac do that just once

The point is, pac could have opted to throw 1 punch at a time and stink the joint out for 12rnds but instead he chose to put an explanation point on his performance and literally retired a much bigger man by breaking his face.

If Floyd had devastating power , you would ALL be bowing down to the greatest fighter that ever lived and nobody would deny it , he has everything , take away power and the casual fan sees very little else , Floyd is for real its just a pity he is so far above the average TV fans comprehension .

Floyd is a tragic example of just being too good , its tragic for fans to not be able to appreciate what it takes to be this good .

You guys really thought it was Floyd's fault? Go rewatch the fight. Rounds 5-8 Canelo was still punching at the same rate as Floyd.. pretty exciting rounds too, lots of combinations.

From rounds 4 and on you can notice all the times Floyd is only EASING forward and not even punching as Canelo STEPS BACK.

Canelo only threw 21 more punches and often stepped back when Floyd stepped forward.

By the way, Floyd started his career at Super Featherweight.

Margo needed duiretics to make 150 and Margo is bigger than Canelo and not near the fighter Canelo is at the same time , Manny also forced him into a 26 ft ring ; as if Margo wasnt slow enough already now he supposed to catch him in a ring Klitschko fights in , wasnt no accident either lol .

Im not even going to go into the 2 yr out and coming of a KO loss but they figure into the result also .

And then the best little trick about this match was wearing illegal 8oz gloves , they knew Manny wont KO him with 8s or 10s , so lets bust him up and 8s are a lot better for fast hands .

That fight was a scam and you swallowed it hook line and sinker because you don't understand boxing and how these things are manipulated in matchmaking and you definitely dont understand the effect they can have in the ring .

At the end of the day it was entertaining. Many were saying how pac was gonna get bombarded with Margarito’s non stop work rate and look what happened. He turned Margarito Chinese.

Those people know exactly how Floyd fights. They've seen him fight several times before. They know what he brings to the table....still they come back when the fight is over and complain.

Nobody is denying that he's a great boxer. That can't be argued. He's just not entertaining. He plays it too safe and does just enough to win on points without going the extra mile to close the show when he indeed can. Watching a fighter throw 1 pig willy punch at a time for 12 rounds isn't my idea of an entertaining fight.
