Didn't Wale Omotoso give him a hell of a fight? I can't recall, but I don't think Vargas was impressive in that fight if I remember.. If I remember correctly some people said he was gonna be great but failed to prove it to me vs Lucky Boy..

Vargas probably would beat Marquez at this point do to his size and reach advantage at 147 I don't think Marquez has ever fought anyone over 5'9 certainly not recently.. but i don't see this fight happening ever..Comment

Yup he gave him hell but both are much much bigger than Marquez really not even in the same weight class even though Marquez is fighting at 147 obviously hes still not a real WWComment

Jesse basically said he wants to fight JMM because he thinks JMM is past his prime so he wants to capitalize on it, instead of saying he just wants to fight the best, which would have been much more respectable. Marquez would school Jesse but it goes to show that a lot of prospects are trying to make a name for themselves by simply fighting past their prime champs, instead of worrying about fighting the other top in their prime contenders and waiting their turn to be the top name in their division and earning a real world title shot.Comment
