I don't think vitali should be allowed in povetkin's locker room. i'd just bring chisora in my locker room if I was povetkin. talk about fighting fire with fire... the klitschko's try & intimidate their opponents. vitali or wlad standing there making them wrap it again, etc. letting them know indirectly that there is 2 of them so if you get past one...

Yes, but as someone else pointed out, Vitali is civil in his behavior. Everybody knows it would be a bad idea to let Chisora in Wlad's locker just before the fight, given the history and the fact that Wlad will be pumped in there. They would literally jeopardize the whole event. Chisora is nuts and doesn't give a crap, as we know.

Cotto having Naazim check Marg's gloves made some sense and of course was a mental ploy, but it seems to have sparked a bit of a trend.

The only people who should be allowed to check a boxer's wraps are those who are working his opponent's corner. Vitali does work Wlad's corner so I see no problem with him being the one to check. Povetkin getting Chisora though just seems silly.

It's not the distracting factor, nothing gets to Wlad psychologically, these days anyway, BUT what if Chisora tried something physical? They can't risk it. Banning him is the right choice.
