only a few cats who i spoke to about the fight always said the fight aint happening because of promotional issues not all that other ****. And that all that other garbage will be sed as a smoke screen to make it seem like the fight is happening. Arum did it somewhat with cotto about mayweather but it never esculated on a scale that this whole MP-FMW did..

Bob arum wanted to control the event
GBP was somewhat willing to make it work..

Many think its Pacs fault, mainly Floyd fans. But history will see it was Floyd.
Floyd had a lay off for God knows how long, and Pac was the main man. Pac was p4p no1, destroying everyone in sight just about apart from JMM.
It would have been a priviledge to be allowed to jump into a fight with Pac without proving yourself.

Its a case of did Floyd want a fight or not? Well stop chit chatting so much and sign the contract offering PPV money and being reasonable.

To me Floyd was the reason the fight didn't happen. He had every excuse in the book for not entertaining the possibility of the fight.

The thing is that whether it was the fact that he would be giving Arum a huge payday or he was just not wanting lose the '0' in his record that kept him from doing it. I just don't know.

Hell, even fifty cent said he was ducking Pacquiao. (probably hating)

Manny walked on testing issues when the fight was at its highest point of being made with a 50/50 split , there is NO denying it , the PROOF is there .

Why do Manny fans over look the very first negotiation , the ONLY real negotiation and then jump to 2 yrs of BS posturing from both sides after the bird flew out the window .

The first time around Manny refused 50/50 and walked over PED testing he now forces Rios to take .

Floyd took the wrong approach with demands and accusations and Pac handled the situation wrong by claiming drawing blood made him weak. And other things along the way make both guys responsible. Both are to blame. It takes someone with a serious ***ed up bias to blame only one guy. Both guys and their teams cumulatively have such huge egos, if they equated to dynamite, you could blow up New York and LA 50 times with the blast from all those egos. Arum is the biggest block in my opinion. Pac would have most likely accepted along the way but that old bastard Arum is the biggest to blame. Pac should have left him long ago.

Floyd is his own boss, as he proudly claims. If he wants to make any fight happen he will make it happen. Fight didn't happen. That's why there's nobody else to blame but Floyd. "Take the test, Pac!" That's the first time he ever demanded it after 40 fights. That in itself is embarrassing. Easy fight, easy money. "Take the test, Pac!" Pac eventually agreed and he came up with roadblocks after roadblocks after roadblocks.

Holmes, RJJ, Hagler, Corley, Chuvalo, Duran, SRL, Lewis, Judah, Foreman, Tyson, you name it. All have commented that Floyd ducked Pac. There's nobody else to blame but the vacationer.
